Illustration Friday - Sink

On holiday last summer I discovered a welly, or rather the top of a welly boot stuck fast in the side of a steep slope. The ground was so hard there was no way it would ever, ever leave that place. It made me smile to imagine the fate of it's owner and what the conditions must have been like to have lost it in that way!

    I love this illustration and that the boy is smiling a little. He must see the humor in his situation. I agree with Leen Christens' comment above about a story. Do you also write?
